Traveler impressions of Tokyo

  • Pros: - No haggling - Japanese are always straight to the point - They mind their own business - I personally thinks that Tokyo is a very safe place to visit - Clean - Easy to travel around with Bus / Public Transport - IC Card is very convenient Cons: - We really think that they can include more benches for tourists - Having hard time locating restroom / toilet in public area especially if you're foreigner who doesn't speak Japanese - My personal opinion, most Japanese shows their frown expressions and aren't very helpful or friendly if you are a foreigner and has no benefits or becoming their potential client. Overall, i am quite satisfied and happy trip to Tokyo during my honeymoon period and my Missus has already planning our next trip to Tokyo again. (lawrence ,Malaysia)

  • I loved this city. So much to do, and with the bullet train it is easy to get out and see more of Japan from this central hub. If Tokyo is not on your bucket list, then get a pen. (Greg ,United Kingdom)
  • Tokyo is a vibrant city with around 13 million of residents. Having an application that could translate any languages to Japanese language is a must as most of the local peoples having a very limited English conversation. There are many places to visit like Akihabara, Asakusa, Shinjuku, Shibuya and more. (Muhammad Hafidz Ariffudin ,Malaysia)
  • Great city so you have to make your traveling day more than 5 days in order to explore all the attractions and spots. I'll be back! (Kurniawan ,Indonesia)
  • If you have more time, you should spend a couple of days to take short tours to outside Tokyo like Izu, Atami, Karuizawa, Nagano, etc. which can add more good scenery views where Tokyo does not have enough. (Leung ,Hong Kong)
